Dr. Pete Hilgartner graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1996.
Prior to beginning his journey as a Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Pete attended Syracuse University as a scholarship athlete for rowing. He earned a B.A. in German history, language and culture in 1984. After college he continued to train for the U.S. National Team but was forced to give up that goal due to a severe back injury.
Thanks to chiropractic care and aggressive rehabilitation, he was later able to earn a commission in the Marine Corps, where he had the privilege of leading Marines during the Gulf War. After the war, he continued to serve in the Marine Reserve while attending Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, where he met his wife, Dr. Lolin Hilgartner.
After the birth of their son, Caleb, Drs. Pete and Lolin moved to Leesburg, Virginia and began their practice together in 1997. In order to devote his time fully to his practice and his family, Dr. Pete resigned his commission in the Marines at the rank of Major in 2000.
Dr. Pete has advanced training in Functional Medicine, Functional Neurology, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has also developed a unique, comprehensive approach to weight loss that has proven to be not only wildly successful short-term, but life changing, long-term for hundreds of people.
The Author of How to Feel 20 Years Younger in 90 Days or Less, Dr. Pete is a sought after speaker and has presented internationally on the topics of health, wellness, leadership and peak performance.
